The keys to a good AfterCare program are good support and involvement from the greater community.

 

Support includes:

 

· PRAYER!

· Donating school supplies and new/gently used children’s clothing/ educational toys

· Donating paper goods and nutritious (non-perishable) snack items and beverages  for the after school program

· Donating educational DVD’s and players

· Monetary gifts for use in transporting children to events and for special program scholarships

 

Involvement includes:

 

· PRAYER!

· Tutoring/mentoring

· Childcare (occasionally)

· Teaching specific skills to individuals/small groups

· Helping with transportation and supervision for special events

· BEING  AVAILABLE!
