Mechanical aptitude, pottery, thespian talents, jewelry-making, needlework, photo-graphy, calligraphy, creative writing, wood-working, astronomy, meteorology, horsemanship… the list of special interests is nearly endless.

Some students display talents in areas not well- addressed in school. Other children are waiting to discover their special gifts. |
|
Where a single male typically can locate and secure a job without the worry of who will care for his children, moms are always concerned with childcare issues in looking for employment or even in returning to school. Frequently a woman staying at a MG facility might qualify for a job, but not at a time con-venient to obtaining consistent childcare. Occasionally there is the possibility of a mom obtaining “purchase of care,” but only after the first month of employment, during which time she must pay out of pocket — money which, in most cases, just isn’t available.
